Research content: outlines the methods and findings of an AHRC funded research project: Charmed: Can jewellery tell us what we want from wearable technology? The key objective of the research was to demonstrate the value of the craftsperson as a researcher and to demonstrate how evocative objects can inform the design of wearable interactive devices. This was clearly achieved and additionally the research demonstrated the potential for a crafts person and thinker to contribute to interdisciplinary design teams at a strategic level. The research is used by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) as a case study exemplar. Read the full paper here: Charmed_D+E
