Hazel is interested in how design tools can help everyone imagine and co-create  better ways of working and living.  Her recent research, design and consultancy includes work for NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government, The Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), Deutsche Telekom, Berlin, The University of Colorado, Denver and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, UK.

Hazel is director of the new Master of Design for Services Programme at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee. This is an innovative one year postgraduate programme which attracts students from a range of different disciplines from around the world.
